Reduce localized fat to create smoother, more balanced contours with Ultrasonic Cavitation.

BODY SLIMMING

Treating cellulite and body slimming through fat reduction via ultrasonic cavitation

What is Ultrasonic Cavitation?

Ultrasonic Cavitation is a non-invasive body-contouring treatment designed to reduce the appearance of localized fat and improve the contours of selected areas.

Low-frequency ultrasound energy is applied to the targeted tissue. The treatment creates mechanical effects within the fatty layer, after which the affected cellular material is gradually processed through the body’s natural metabolic and lymphatic pathways. It is intended for localized contouring—not weight loss or the treatment of obesity.

Ultrasonic Cavitation may help:

  • Reduce the volume of localized fat deposits

  • Refine the contours of areas that have been resistant to diet and exercise

  • Improve the appearance of uneven body proportions

  • Support a smoother-looking treatment area

Results develop gradually and vary between individuals. A series of treatments is generally recommended, with progress best evaluated several weeks after the series has been completed. Final results may continue to become visible for approximately 8 to 12 weeks, depending on the treatment protocol and individual response.

Balanced nutrition, regular physical activity, hydration, and stable weight can support and help maintain results. Ultrasonic Cavitation does not replace healthy lifestyle habits, and results are not guaranteed.

Frequency Asked Questions (FAQ)

What Does the Treatment Feel Like?

Most clients find the treatment comfortable. You may feel gentle pressure, vibration, warmth from the movement of the applicator, or hear a temporary high-pitched sound while the device is operating.

There is generally little to no downtime. Temporary redness, tenderness, mild swelling, bruising, or sensitivity may occur in the treated area. Non-invasive ultrasound body-contouring treatments are generally associated with mild and temporary side effects, although adverse reactions are possible.

Who Should Avoid Ultrasonic Cavitation?

Ultrasonic Cavitation may not be appropriate for clients with certain medical conditions. Treatment should be avoided or postponed when any of the following apply:

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding

  • Active cancer or current cancer treatment

  • A pacemaker or another implanted electronic device

  • Significant liver or kidney disease

  • Severe or unstable heart or vascular disease

  • A blood-clotting disorder or current blood clot

  • An active infection, open wound, rash, or inflamed skin in the treatment area

  • Recent surgery or an incompletely healed scar in the treatment area

  • Reduced sensation that may prevent you from communicating discomfort

  • An implanted medical device or metal implant near the treatment area

  • A medical condition that affects healing, circulation, or immune function

This list is not exhaustive. Certain conditions or medications may require written medical clearance rather than automatically excluding treatment.

Suitability also depends on the specific device, treatment area, and manufacturer’s instructions. Please disclose your complete health history, recent procedures, implanted devices, and current medications during your consultation.

How Should I Prepare for Ultrasonic Cavitation?

For the best treatment experience:

  • Drink water regularly during the 24 hours before your appointment

  • Avoid alcohol for approximately 24 to 48 hours before treatment

  • Avoid arriving immediately after a large or high-fat meal

  • Maintain normal meals rather than fasting

  • Keep the treatment area clean and free from heavy creams or oils

  • Avoid treatment if the area is sunburned, irritated, infected, or has an open wound

  • Tell your provider about recent surgeries, cosmetic procedures, health changes, or new medications

  • Wear comfortable clothing that allows access to the treatment area

Do not stop prescribed medication—including anti-inflammatory medication—unless the prescribing healthcare professional has told you to do so.

Isotretinoin use, previous IPL or laser treatment, and recent sun exposure do not automatically require the same waiting period for every client. However, they must be disclosed so the condition of the skin and suitability of treatment can be assessed.

After Your Treatment

To support circulation and the body’s natural processing of the treated tissue:

  • Continue drinking water throughout the day

  • Complete light physical activity, such as walking, when appropriate

  • Limit alcohol for 24 to 48 hours

  • Follow a balanced diet and avoid unusually heavy or high-fat meals immediately after treatment

  • Follow the recommended spacing between appointments

  • Contact the clinic if you experience unexpected or persistent pain, marked swelling, blistering, skin changes, or other concerning symptoms

The recommendations should be followed throughout the treatment series—not only on the day of your appointment.

Important Information

Ultrasonic Cavitation is a cosmetic body-contouring treatment. It is not a weight-loss procedure and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent a medical condition.

A consultation is highly recommended to determine treatment suitability, establish realistic expectations, and create an appropriate treatment plan. Please consult your healthcare provider when you have a medical condition or concern that is not addressed above.
